Hello Fellow Dairy Goat Enthusiasts! As we look forward to hosting the 2012 ADGA National Show in Colorado we need to start raising the funds for this amazing opportunity. I have been asked to help with the Come To the Farm Auction. If you have not heard about this, you might want to take a few minutes and visit http://cometothefarm.com. We will start running auctions to benefit the Colorado National Show after August of this year, but in order to do this we need your help!
How it will work: I will get an benefit auction set up on Come to the Farm. You are welcome to list your donations on the auction or I would be happy to list them for you. Items will be listed for one to two weeks, when they sell buyers will send checks directly to Pam Bartholf, CDGA Treasurer. As soon as payment is received I will let you know that you can ship the item. If you plan to offer free/cheap shipping you will be responsible for getting your item to the ADGA Conventions (2010 & 2011) or the National Show (2011 & 2012) , I would be happy to try and get you some names of people who are going. (If you are going, and wouldn't mind transporting some items, please also let me know that!)
What I need from you now! A list of Items you tentatively plan to donate. You are welcome to auction off anything! Starting thinking about things you make? Extra semen in your tank? That great Christmas gift item? Kid certificates? Services like web sites, photo editing, ect. you could donate? We would like to run a couple sets auctions to keep interest up, tentatively one before each Harvest Show (in Sept.) for delivery to convention, one before each Christmas, and one or two before nationals 2012! We would like to space out similar items so that there is only one lot of an item up at any given time (example: alpine semen, or goat milk lotion).
What I need from you later! Item description, photos, cost of shipping (flat rate boxes would probably be simplest) or if you are planning on getting it to a ADGA Convention or National Show.
If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me. James Haught (970)-420-4133
